In the afternoon visit Chidiya Tapu, which is 30 KM from the main city; this place is famous for sunset views and for bird watching. Varieties of birds visit this place. The road passes through forests and small hills up to the Chidiya Tapu. Remains of trees uprooted during the Tsunami in 2004 are still present near the beach. There is no restaurant or food stall available inside the park; however, small hotels are present at the entrance. While traveling to this place sea will be to your left side. On your way, you would pass through the Kalapathar, a trail of black rocks and beach. Stop here to take some pictures and proceed to Chidiyatapu and Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Samudrika Marine Museum: The Samudrika Marine Museum in Port Blair is a must-visit attraction for marine life enthusiasts. An early morning departure from Port Blair will take you on a scenic road trip to Baratang Island, which is approximately 110 km away. As you travel through the dense tropical forest and Jarawa Tribal reserve in a convoy, keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of a member of the Jarawa Tribe.
At the end of the forest journey, you will reach Baratang jetty, where you can enjoy a breath taking fiber boat ride through a fascinating mangrove drive. This ride will lead you to the start point of the trek to Lime Stone Caves. Trek through the dense forest to reach the Limestone Cave, an awe-inspiring natural wonder that is sure to leave you mesmerized.
